Horse Grooming Tools

These horse grooming tools are a must for every grooming box:

Hoofpick with brush

Hoofpick with brush and wire brush

Use a hoofpick to clean out your horses feet every day. A simple wire brush is a great tool, particularly on a barefoot horse. It easily removes dead horn and small stones out of the white line.

Curry Comb Body Brush

Curry Comb and Body Brush

The curry comb is used in circular moves across the body. This loosens the dirt from the coat. Never use on bones e.g. wither, spine, head or legs. Use body brush afterwards to remove dirt.

Dandy Brush

Dandy Brush

A dandy brush with stiff bristles is ideal to remove dried up muck from your horses coat.

Polishing Glove

Polishing and Massage Glove

A polishing glove will give a nice shine to the coat

Use a massage glove instead of a curry comb in more sensitive areas like the legs to loosen the dirt.
